In his fight to keep healthcare away from as many Texans as possible, Rick Perry is succeeding in denying care for over 1 million Texans, with the added benefit (sarcasm) of driving up costs for millions of other Texans. By refusing to participate in the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, and refusing to expand Medicaid to the poor uninsured. His hatred of the federal government, and the African American President who’s running it, now not only threatens the very lives of poor Texans, it’s going to cost the rest of us a lot more money. Oh, and his proposals for an alternative plan? Zero. None. Nada.
Does that make any sense?
