The right-wing contempt for working people was on full display as Michelle Malkin joined the Fox and Friends crew:
"Romney types, of course, are the ones who sign the front of the paycheck, and the Obama types are the one who have spent their entire lives signing the back of them,"
Very clever line. But as they say in the NFL, upon further review...Let's see, Ms. Malkin. The graphic says "Fox News contributor." I would assume that means you receive some sort of compensation from News Corp. Is your signature on the front? You three morons on the couch, do you sign the front or the back? Idiots.
But that small detail aside, I hope Ms. Malkin's words are how the election plays out. Everyone who signs the front of the check votes for Romney, everyone who signs the back votes for Obama.
Sounds like a recipe for a landslide to me.
One more thing, the editing crew at the Fox Ministry of Disinformation did their usual thing with the clip of President Obama's remarks . Here's what they played:
"When some people question why I would challenge his Bain record, the point I've made there in the past is, if you're a head of a large private equity firm or hedge fund, your job is to make money. It's not to create jobs. It's not even to create a successful business - it's to make sure that you're maximizing returns for your investor. Now that's appropriate. That's part of the American way. That's part of the system. But that doesn't necessarily make you qualified to think about the economy as a whole..."
Here's the rest:
...because as president, my job is to think about the workers. My job is to think about communities, where jobs have been outsourced."
Wow, a president who is concerned with the plight of working people? Us peons who weren't born with a silver spoon and have to spend our miserable, worthless lives signing the back of the check? The 1%--and their lapdogs like Malkin and the Fox and Friends dunderheads--will have none of that nonsense.
Here is the thing, they are absolutely right. Romney writes the checks and Obama endorses them. However, we are electing people called public servants. I'd rather have someone that has worked for someone else. Someone that has never worked fir anyone else doesn't understand what most Americans go through on a daily basis. So, you've just made our point for us. Progressives are more in touch with the average American. Thanks Michelle, I couldn't have said it better myself.
The only thing Malkin does well is that condescending, arrogant sneer. She is a totally repulsive human, and has been for many years.
