Jonah Goldberg, National Review Online editor, believes stupid people shouldn't be allowed to vote:
OK, Jonah. I'll play along. Let's disenfranchise the stupid.
So amend Goldberg's statement to read:
Fox News viewers are so frickin' stupid about so many things, which is why the system must change. It is a simple fact of science that nothing correlates more with ignorance and stupidity more than watching Fox News.
There. Fixed it.
"Goldberg...explains that he believes letting 18-year-old Americans vote is a big mistake that should be taken back..Goldberg said that young voters are "so frickin' stupid about so many things," which is why, in his view, the system must change.
"It is a simple fact of science that nothing correlates more with ignorance and stupidity more than youth," Goldberg said."
OK, Jonah. I'll play along. Let's disenfranchise the stupid.
"[A]ccording to Fairleigh Dickinson University's latest PublicMind poll...which asked New Jerseyans where they find news and information about current events...Fox News actually leads people to be less informed than those who consume no news at all."
So amend Goldberg's statement to read:
Fox News viewers are so frickin' stupid about so many things, which is why the system must change. It is a simple fact of science that nothing correlates more with ignorance and stupidity more than watching Fox News.
There. Fixed it.

If stupid people were disenfranchised according to Jonah Goldberg's wishes, he'd be the first in line to lose the right to vote. Can I slap him? Please???
The first piece I read from him was defending Andrew Breitbart. He called him a friend. Saying you were friends with Breornate. Is a lot like saying this movie comes from the people that brought you Showgirls, The Specialist, and Stop or My Mom Will Shoot. It ain't exactly a ringing endorsement for you.
He may be the world's worst editorial writer.
According to me:
"It is a simple fact of science that nothing correlates more with ignorance and stupidity more than being a member of the Tea Party"
What a sanctimonious jackass this guy is. Of course, disenfranchising the young would have nothing to do with the fact that they traditionally vote Democratic. How dare we question those motives. I'd love to suppress the stupid but who is to judge what constitutes stupid? Fox News is an excellent jumping off point.
The issue I have with modern politics is the absence of facts. It used to be that we could at least agree on certain sources as authorities on facts. They have managed to shovel this liberal media crap down our throat that now Fox News viewers aren't "misinformed". They simply have the "real" facts that haven't been "filtered" through the traditional media. Crackpot sources like the CBO and other sources are just making shit up according to them.
D - you have a penchant for stating the obvious !
