A law that forces a woman to get a
sonogram 24 hours before an abortion, with few exceptions. And who was
responsible for this?
2004 that was supposed to created thousands of jobs for Texans, but only made
money for the companies who stuck it to the taxpayers and then sold themselves
a couple of times over. And who was responsible for this?
Denying a stay of execution for a
father accused of setting fire to the house where his children were sleeping,
and removing several members of a state panel investigating the case in order
to delay a politically damaging report that said there was no evidence of arson
at the house. And who was responsible for this?
Refusing to accept federal funds for
education and then cutting the State education budget by hundreds of millions,
laying off teachers and cutting programs, thereby jeopardizing our children’s
collective futures. And who was responsible for this?
Moving into a $10,000 a month rent
house when the Governor’s mansion is a victim of arson, and staying there for
THREE YEARS, or at least leaving dirty laundry there in between trips all over
the world on the taxpayers dime so he can ‘promote Texas’ to foreign
corporations and ‘create thousands of jobs’ that don’t seem to have
materialized. And who was responsible for this?
I hope these get a
little play in the media as Guvner Goodhair continues to contemplate a run for
President. I would love to hear his inarticulate explanation regarding how all
these things are truly good for Texas.
What would you add
to the list?
