My regular readers will be barred from this particular game. At least they will be barred from the basic part of the test. As some of you may know, Where's Waldo is a game where Waldo is hidden amongst a sea of chaos. In this case, we are putting Waldo in a place of business. All of these events happened in one day at Waldo's place of work. Your task? Guess where Waldo works. Those of you that know Waldo can simply comment on Waldo's day without revealing the ultimate location.
8:00 Waldo finishes his morning assignment to find out that a coworker is not there. Her assignment has been dropped to him. Mind you, this assignment came without any instructions. He is supposed to monitor a young person until he gets further instructions.
8:30 While transferring the young person to another coworker, the young person jumps on the back of Waldo's supervisor. The supervisor falls to the floor and hits their head. Then, he tries to climb on Waldo's back before he is transferred to the lead supervisor's care. He is transferred out of the facility while Waldo's supervisor goes to the hospital.
9:00 Waldo is called on the walkie talkie to another room in the building, Another young person has lost control. Waldo restrains the young person, but the young person is still able to kick Waldo in the private area. Waldo transfers the young person to the supervisor where he is transferred off of the facility. Waldo goes to find some ice to apply to his private area.
10:00 Waldo is called for another young person who is crawling around the floor and making indecipherable noises. Waldo must wait for another staff member to help. It is against protocol to drag a student on the floor, but Waldo says it has to happen sometimes anyway.
10:15 Waldo is called again because another young person is throwing chairs in a room in the building. He will also not come quietly, so Waldo needs the assistance of another staff member. However, the two must drag him part of the way. The supervisor is busy, so Waldo must arrange for both students to be transferred off of the facility.
10:45 Waldo is called outside during recreation time because one of the young people is refusing to come in. Due the number of young people in lockdown, this young person (and another Waldo picked up along the way) both are transferred back to their usual area despite their indiscretions.
12:30 After an extended break from action, Waldo is called out into the yard again because a young person is throwing rocks at one his coworkers. He must drag her in because there are no staff members available. The supervisor is in a meeting, but she is transferred off of the facility anyway.
This is a day in the life of Waldo. Obviously, there are some clues, but that is all you are getting.

:) that'll work...
Those in your position sure are living high on the hog with your benefits and support personnel, huh.
Nah, taking a break from that. I'm considering getting into the shepherd business. Sheep are more compliant and it leaves a man with a lot of time to read.
Hey Scott,
Did u shave your head and start wearing camo...I might have seen you running around the neighborhood?
Since everyone responding knows the real answer I'll just say how disappointed I am that my profession has dropped to such levels.
Easter egg hunt at your house with your 7-8 nieces and nephews????
I know! I know! Waldo is my friend, the school teacher in Florida that teaches 5-7 y/o autistic and Down's children in public school.
Not a day goes by that she doesn't change diapers, clean up feces, get hit, punched, kicked or otherwise mauled by at least of one of her students.
But... she really loves those kids and cares about them and loves working with them. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts she may not be able to continue to do so for much longer. Sad, really.
Must have been an after-Easter sale at the mall....
The Junior League? Docent on the Azaelea Trail? Hoity toity ain't all it's cracked up to be. They have a dark underbelly and it ain't because of tanning salons...
Another guess...The National Zoological Association?
Open, believe a full moon was involved
Wherever it is the state needs to cut funding in the next budget; clearly overstaffed.
I think you need to open this up to everybody. Only offshore, aH, and me are playing.
WEll, I was gonna say chaperoning a 5 year old's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese, but the time frame and "body count" is inconsistent with that.
Does it have anything to do with the first Sunday, following the first full moon, following the vernal equinox?????
You are thinking on the right track, but young person was never meant as a metaphor. I realize with the relatively recent passings of Kennedy, Byrd, Helms, and Thurmand that anything under sixty could pass as young in that world.
My God, I had know idea Waldo was putting up with this stuff every day. That sounds like hell, and a symptom of some kind of societal break down. Would Waldo agree?
So my answer is wrong?????
OK, I was almost sure I got it.
That must automatically rule out the State Legislature of Texas and Harris County Commissioner's Court.
..
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Does Waldo perform these services in connection with this "job" for free???
Which is why I banned my regular readers from participating in that part of the test. However, I would point out that none of the particular young people are old enough to be adjudicated by the state.
You guys are "assuming" this is a "school" think simply because Scott works in a school. You know what happens when you ASS-U-ME.
The answer IS, Waldo is President Obama's Chief of Staff.
Given that I attended school there for 4 years, is it appropriate for me to guess that Waldo works at a paticular island high school?
I just have to give it a go:
Shutter Island?
I wanna know where in the the world Carmen Sandiego is?
You can give it a go.
I'm only semi-regular. Does that qualify me?
