Harry Weber, a reporter for the AP, disputed the New York Times' BP well blowout story the we posted on Sunday. Calling some of their claims "patently false", Weber asserted that many facts that the Times reported as new had actually been reported by the AP as early as May. While I thought the Times story was an excellent recount with very good graphics, I have to agree that much of the story had already been reported, even by this humble blog and in Disaster on the Horizon, published in October.

My hope this year on this disaster is, that the people who need medical care receives it immediately, and finding a natural way to neutralize and cleaning up the toxins and oil that was spread.
Someone who is in battle for the Pulitzer award on this disaster does not impress me, there are more important issues on this disaster that needs to be battle over.
This disaster is not over, people are suffering there.
