Something to look forward to if Republicans re-gain control of the House in November--impeachment. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) and the right-wing noise machine are revving up impeachment chatter over the allegations of Joe Sestak being offered an unpaid advisory position to stay out of the senatorial primary in Pennsylvania. Issa:

And no business being anywhere near anything that resembles a position of power.
"It's very clear that allegation is one that everyone from Arlen Spector to Dick Morris has said is in fact a crime, and could be impeachable," said Issa, who is threatening to file an ethics compliant if Sestak doesn't provide more details about the alleged job offer."

"I continue to believe that if Obama sits in the White House for six years with a GOP majority in the House of Representatives that the odds are very good -- better than 50 percent -- that he'll be impeached. Not convicted, of course, but impeached, forcing a Senate trial.

In fact, impeachment talk moved.. from Tea Party rallies to at least one Republican Member of the House, Darrell Issa. And Issa's not an obscure backbencher; he's the ranking Republican on Oversight and Government Reform, and he also sits on the Judiciary Committee.
The incentives all run to impeachment, as far as I can tell. The leaders of such an effort would find it easy to cash in (literally, I mean) with books and appearances on the conservative lecture circuit. It's hard to believe that Rush, Beck and the rest of the gang wouldn't be tripping over each other to wear the crown of the Host Who Brought Down the socialist gangster president."
Steve Benen at Washington Monthly:
"It's tempting to think of impeachment as a far-fetched, silly idea, barring actual impeachable offenses. But the more I think about it, the more I remember this is the House Republican caucus we're dealing with. They're a creative bunch, with no real appreciation for norms or limits."

Good one freeportguy!
The American people are tired of the nasty gridlock. If the Republicans gain control of the house and try to impeach Mr. Obama their reign of power will be short.
9.9% unemployment, two ongoing wars, out of control spending and the Republicans want to go after our President to grandstand in front of the cameras for a political move that has zero chance of success?
These guys are jokes and just embarrassing themselves.
Yeah, like they don't have more important things to do. The GOP has served notice they will do anything to get the oval office back in 2012.
Sounds like the perfect time to start THE RECALL PARTY! But I can't recall who these idiots are half the time due to the senior moments that force me into projects like changing the oil on the tractor instead. And shredding weeds with the big shredder always makes me think of Congress somehow...
They've had the impeachment word in their agenda since 20 Jan 09.
Imagine if Obama had authorized the invasion of a country under false pretext...
Speaking of hypocrisy, why is Michael Berry still on the air here? There seems to be a double standard for conservative cowards.

This is purely inciting to violence and a terrible misstatement of the facts.
I don't listen to KTRH or KPRC because of their content (or lack thereof) but KBME was my favorite sports talk station. They're all off my list now. I hope more people will follow suit.
I hate them. I absolutely hate them. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds.
They are just blackhearted, evil bastards.
