The White House is encouraging people to give to the Red Cross and other relief agencies sending supplies and searchers into Haiti. While millions of Americans are doing everything they can to help, Rush Limbaugh, Chairman of the Republican Party, is falsely claiming that money given will be kept by Obama and not go to relief. He's urging people not to give to relief because they've somehow already given through their taxes.
Thinking people know that Limbaugh is an ass. Now, to push his own ratings and make more money for himself, he's advocating that tens of thousands die. It's sickening.

Actually, no he didn't. First, the government link is for thr Red Cross, not some government charity as Rush lied about. Second, he didn't say give to the Red Cross. Today, after making it all about him, lied again and said he never said don't donate, all while insulting the caller who corrected him with "Take the tampons out of your ears". Nice. We stand by our post.

I was in my car with the radio tuned to Rush the day he said not to give money to the government for relief. Instead of that, because only 30% would get to Haiti that way, he said to donate to the Red Cross.

These people and their ilk are lower than pond scum. How does one get that way?? I'm serious. What in their lives affected them such that they have NO humanity?? If anybody deserves an aortic aneurism, this guy does.

It's not like Rush's drooling followers would help with a disaster, so he's only preaching to his choir. People like Rush and his followers wouldn't bend their backs to help people in need, much less open their wallets.
