Bear with me as I take a shot at something new this morning--video editing. This is from KFMB in San Diego yesterday. San Diego is the first stop on the national tour for the Tea Party Express, which will be here in the Houston area on November 7th. All the usual suspects were in attendance, including the "take our country back" crowd. Billionaires for Wealthcare also made an appearance. Take a look:

miemaw you are right on! ask any one of these ultra-maroons about corporate welfare and they'll catch flies, open mouthed. they don't even know what it means! fox news whines because they were called out as a mere propaganda outlet for this astroturfing and the political agenda of roger ailes, a neocaon. yet they are the only "news" promoting the tea party express. and yes these are angry white people who scream "i want my america back" and probably do, selectively. probably slavery and indentured servitude would be ok with them as well as the salem witch trials for everyone who does not fit their narrow idea of "christianity". but the women fail to realize they only have the right to vote or even stand outside without permission because of changes to their precious constitution. too ignorant to realize all the generations of people who lived in texas when it was called mexico would not be living here illegally if manifest destiny had not changed the landscape by brutal force. christopher columbus was an illegal alien!

There was a report that Obama's unyielding, tough stance on improving education is paying off. But people can say "I disagree with EVERY SINGLE THING this President has done." Black and white, all or nothing thinkers. They really are a scourge to free thinking and to progress.
Looked really hard at the crowd, too. Maybe I missed it, but every single one I saw was white (except the 1 black speaker). So the message I get is that white people want to take back "their country".

These are the "real" welfare kings and queens. These are people who want all kinds of services from government, (roads, bridges, schools, police and fire protection, streets, and sidewalks,) ---- and don't want to pay for them.
