Rush Limbaugh's ongoing tantrum over being excluded from a group trying to buy the St. Louis Rams is hilarious to me. Especially this statement yesterday that the NFL is an "outpost of racism and liberalism":
Yes, that outpost of racism where 70% of the players are African-American. Where 17 of the top 25 salaries belong to African-American players. Just for our 2 Texas teams, the highest salaries on both the Houston Texans and the Dallas Cowboys are paid to African-American players; Andre Johnson and Flozell Adams, respectively. Both are paid more that the white quarterbacks on their teams. Yeah, lots of racism there, Rush.
And about that "outpost of liberalism." Would that be those avowed Marxist, communist owners like Bob McNair of the Texans, Jerry Jones of the Cowboys, and Bud Adams of the Tennessee Titans, just to name 3 familiar to people here in the state of Texas. The Texans, 99% of whose contributions have gone to Republicans, compared to 88% for the Titans, and a meager 82% for the Cowboys.
My opinion of the situation is this. Rush learned a valuable lesson here, a lesson I've heard him repeat many times on his radio show referring to politicians--words mean things. He is free to say whatever he wants on the radio, however incendiary, inflammatory, and provocative it might be. And he can become fabulously wealthy because of those words, which he has. But when he steps outside of the cocoon of talk radio and the adoring millions of dittoheads who hang on everything he says, those words have consequences.
So toughen up and take it like a man, Rush. It's called reaping what you have sown.

You know, the more I listen to that fat ass, the more I just want to go kick his nuts in.
Drop him to the ground.
He's an insult to women. He's an insult to MEN.
Decent men don't talk down to women like that. Decent men don't call women "feminazis". Decent men don't ask women if they want to be "eye candy". Decent men don't treat women that way.
I'm sorry, I look at that fat tub of lardo and I see a man who is probably in agony because he hasn't had any action in decades. And so he takes out his not-so-latent anger against women with his vituperative speech. Instead of cleaning up his act and perhaps dropping 250 lbs.
I guess truth does not matter to some people. No matter *what* they call themselves?
OK, I can't resist....there is a commenter over on the dark side. Let's call him....darksidecritic. :-) Or is that too subtle?
Who complains that he *wants* to write his own blog, but waah waah, the venue on which he is commenting, "won't let him because he's too critical". Someone bring me that tiny violin please so I can express the minuteness of my sorrow for him.
Does this person not realize that there are OTHER avenues available for blog writing?
Does this person think anyone CARES if he writes a blog? Anywhere at all?
ROFL.
Thanks, critic. I needed a good laugh this morning and you never fail to provide one.
I guess it does not matter to anyone that these quotes that were used so matter of factly agaist him were false. Seems like the 'drive by media' as Rush so loving referrs to them pulled a 'Dan Rathers.' and had to eat there words on Friday. Oh yea, lets take a look at his accusers records of realiability... Anyone remember the Duke Lacross Team? Fasles accuastions, and you people just flock to them, as if they are offering you a huge juicy steak...with you mouths salivating.
Ha Ha. I hope he make more money suing the pants off these people... Cause lord know that he would have lost money on the Rams.

Editor's note: Uh...truthstretcher...you might want to go to the video tape before you falsely accuse people of lying.

It's really hard to deny saying something when you tape every word you say.
Jefe
Wow, and imagine this, to quote some commenter over on the dark side...."Limbaugh had an ancestor who was a Union soldier and died in the Civil War! Stop this 9th grade crap!".
*Gasp!*
How *could* we have so disrespected such a man who had an ancestor who died fighting on the Union side in the Civil War?
How could we have been so cruel????
Ummm.....possibly because MOST of us had ancestors who fought in the Civil War on one side or the other? And possibly because none of us really gives a hoot about his ancestors. He could be descended from George Washington for all I care. Rush Limbaugh is still a horse's ass.
...and the cars..... :-)
carguy great story about borders! makes me wonder why limbaugh's book is NOT carried in FICTION!
here's another little ditty, from limbaugh's sidesplitter, "see, i told you so", page 69 which explains columbus bashers. "let me translate multi-culture speak for you and put into more direct language we can all understand: indians are good. white europeans are bad. blacks are good. asians, we're not too sure about."
how much oxy does it take to see THIS society?
Everybody does. It's my dimples :-)
Awww, carguy, I think I love you......
I love that. No, I REALLY love that!
This egomaniacal, narcissistic, blowhard full of BS got exactly what he deserved. A REALITY CHECK.
And shortstuff put it best (she usually does)...Suck it up, Rushbo. You're a buffoon and no one with any working brain cells likes you.
I want to be at heaven's gate when St. Peter gives this bag of wind the bad news.
I have to tell you all a GREAT story. Way back when Al Franken wrote his book "Rush Limbaugh is a big, fat Idiot", I went to Borders to get a copy. I was looking for it and couldn't find it.
So I asked a clerk, he said, "It's not in humor, it's in NON-FICTION."
I guess the blowhard of the party of responsibility isn't able to accept responsibility for the fact that he's a major pain in the butt.
Suck it up, Rushbo. You're a buffoon and no one with any working brain cells likes you.
Ha Ha.. what comes around goes around I say.
"i found out something about myself that was quite disturbing, i found out i was really, really good at insulting people." (pg 31 of "see, i told you so" by rush limbaugh.)
"our country is inherently evil. the whole idea of america is corrupt. the history of this nation is strewn with examples of oppression and genocide. the story of the united states is cultural imperialism - how a bunch of repressed white men imposed their will and values on peaceful indigenous people, black slaves from africa, and women". (pg. 66, "see, i told you so" by rush limbaugh).
are fox and all the "free market econony" experts still looking for quotes from limbaugh, or are we still playing the game where he has been slandered? perhaps i should mail the above book to bill-o so he can read a hundred or so of the quotes i've highlighted? after reading franken on limbaugh, i decided to read limbaugh on limbaugh. the NFL, NBA, MLB and any other professional sports organization will never have this racist, but nothing stops him from becoming a silent partner or forming another group with money.
Suck it up Fat Boy ! You're bad for business ! Your involvement might mean a loss of income for the business, therefore you're fired ! Isn't this one of the main principles of the wonderful free market capitalism he's always touting ?
Des, don't pick on Rush too much -- don't you know that he is just misunderstood and unloved. Poor baby...LOL!
I'm enjoying this immensely :) What a freaking crybaby. I think the guy honestly expected to be received with the same kind of mindless adoration that his fans give him. I don't think the fact that he has more people that are not fans of his than he does that are ever occurred to him. He'll probably have to ramp up his oxycontin dosage just so he can cope with the rejection.
